Program design

What every cycle includes

6 weeks of guided sessions

Each cycle meets 2 days per week for 2 hours per day, building skills step by step.

2-week rest & engagement

Every cycle is followed by a 2-week break for rest, outreach, and preparation for the next group.

Mobile delivery

We travel to community locations, senior centers, and cancer support groups — no one has to come to us.

All materials provided

Yarn, reusable crochet hook kits, handouts and instruction are provided at no cost to participants.

Snacks & fellowship

Every session includes snacks and time to connect in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Therapeutic group setting

Seniors, cancer patients and volunteers create side by side, reducing isolation and fostering purpose.

Meet the group, learn foundational stitches, and start a first flower.

Weeks 3–4

Building confidence

Chemo hats, carnations and awareness flowers in meaningful ribbon colors.

Creating together
